PHASE 31 (TAURUS 1°): A CLEAR MOUNTAIN STREAM.

KEYNOTE: The pure, uncontaminated and spontaneous manifestation of one’s own nature.

Here we see life substance in its original dynamic form and as it emerged from its spiritual source. This is true whatever the nature of the source may be. In a sense the mountain stream is conditioned by the nature of the soil and by all the forces which in the past have formed the mountain’s rock strata: that is to say, by past history. Yet out of this past a new, pure (i.e. unadulterated) release of potentiality has emerged. It is ready to perform whatever work its dharma is to accomplish.

This is the first stage of the seventh five-fold sequence of phases. Matter is still imbued with great potential energy, energy being matter at its source. It is flowing irresistibly toward its own destiny. It is simply ITS OWN NATURE.

We start out in life attracted, magnetized to the spot where love is promised. The Divine Mother energy claims our heart. And so we come in with innocence and purity, an open slate for this next lifetime, this new adventure.

Our style, our substance, our energy frequency is simple, basic and straight. All we want to do is partake of the bounty and the glory of creation. We need to be filled with grace, with beauty. Our longing for a good life is unstinting.

From the beginning to the end, birth to death, we hold this stance, we cleave to this position of being the one who feels and senses the one-pointed primary matters and nothing else. Our identity is structure around being attuned to the Central Chamber, and we do not wander from that place.

The experiences we draw to us are often blatantly contradictory to our self- image and our inward reality. For it is that which will reveal to us what we need to see and feel which we cannot refuse. We are utterly fascinated by all ways people can be. For we are always just one way and the others brings the colors and times that are missing in us.

Our intent is plain. We seek to love and be loved, to honor and be honored, to recognize and be recognized. It is most vital for us to be seen as we are. And if we can see another as they truly are, such is the fruit of the vine, the wonder of the Earth.

Whether we are in nature’s elements or in the midst of the crowd, it’s all the same. For we are drawn with the sharpest instinct to the center. That center is on tap in all situations. Some things never vary.

I just recorded Part Nine of my Sacred Pilgrimage Series.

I share about my visit to the Saint-Michel Chapel (aka Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe) that previously was a Roman Temple to Mercury and before that a prehistoric Dolmen.

I talk about 8/8 Lion’s Gate and why people argue if it’s real and why it’s a portal/gateway that is important NOW at this time on Earth.

I talk about the Earth/Sky relationship and how Sacred Sites are attuned to this. I also talk about how letting the landscape speak to you can reveal truths hidden in plain sight.

I talk about the Virgin Mary, her apparitions, how Le Puy is one of the oldest Mary appearance sites in Europe- and how I think she choose this place because it was an ancient Goddess site for millennia (and honestly I think the Virgin Mary is simply the face the ancient Goddess wears to fit into modern traditions).

I talk about the Via Podiensis- the start of one of the French Camino Pathways here in Le Puy. And I talk about Melusine the fairy Mermaid who shows up at the top of a very high mountain- like a fish out of water! ;)

Finally, I talk about how I believe the current position of the Cathedral is not the place the original Mary apparition happened and where I think she likely did and why it got moved.

I am including several sets of pictures in this episode- so give me time to get them up after I send this out. Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe is one of my favorite places in Le Puy and there are just too many pictures I want to share so you can see why :)

I just recorded a Podcast on the upcoming Mercury Retrograde which looks to be a DOOZY!

Mercury Stations Retrograde on June 26th but he entered front end shadow THIS MORNING. So from now until June 26th we want to PAY ATTENTION- the Universe always gives us previews about what the Underworld phase incoming is going to ask of us ;)

From June 26th to July 2nd we have Mercury Station Retrograde (on the 29th) in DOUBLE SQUARE TO ERIS- the Goddess of Discord and Chaos!!! Put a big red circle around this time on your calendar. Not a great time to travel- but also all manner of other things can be impacted (listen to the Podcast for the full download).

Earlier today I posted my Lunar Insight on the New Moon in Gemini exact this Sunday. This New Moon is Unaspected by any traditional Planets- and the only aspect it does make is a sextile to Eris! Gemini is ruled by Mercury- so both the Lunar Cycle and the Mercury Retrograde Cycle have Eris acting as Threshold Gatekeeper !!!

PHASE 117 (CANCER 27°): A VIOLENT STORM IN A CANYON FILLED WITH EXPENSIVE HOMES.

KEYNOTE: A confrontation with a social upheaval demanding the reconsideration of static values.

The deeper implications of the scene depicted in the symbol are that the socio-cultural elite can always see its position and security challenged by forces beyond its control, even if it may be successful in protecting itself from destruction. The individual may not be able to depend on the standards and values he has acquired through education and through a relatively sheltered and rich life. He has to rise to the occasion, and perhaps to undergo an inner metamorphosis as a result of the crisis he has been able to accept as a personal challenge.

The contrast between the two first phases of this twenty-fourth sequence is evident: peace in luxury and intellectual development in terms of collective cultural values (reading books), then the challenge to meet a crisis situation produced by uncontrollable karmic forces that could lead to a successful CATHARSIS.

DIRECT STATION DEGREE (7/23)

PHASE 107 (CANCER 17°): THE UNFOLDMENT OF MULTILEVEL POTENTIALITIES ISSUING FROM AN ORIGINAL GERM.

KEYNOTE: The life urge to actualize one’s birth potential.

What is pictured here is simply the process of germination. As it unfolds from the sundered seed the plant pierces the crust of the soil and reaches up toward the light. This is a dynamic process turned outward, in contrast to the more static or introspective process of integration-through- understanding depicted in the preceding symbol.

Germination is the crucifixion of the seed. The seed becomes the germ, just as the Tibetan student meditating silently and peacefully on the Mandala is followed by the Christian Crusader - and, at a materialistic level of productivity, by the engineer-technologist intent upon transforming the globe for the greatest possible enjoyment of the greatest possible number of human beings.

As usual, the second stage of the five-fold sequence establishes a contrast with the first. Action polarizes meditation. The expanding process of self-actualization — which may mean nothing more than ego-expansion through conquest — contrasts with the introspective study of the structural relationship between, and the meaning of, the various energies and potentialities of one’s nature (svarupa in Sanskrit).

The Keyword is GROWTH.

I just recorded the Lunar Insight for the New Moon in Gemini exact this Sunday June 14th at 7:54pm PDT/8:54pm MDT/10:54pm EDT.

This New Moon makes NO ASPECTS to any of the traditional Planets. It does make a sextile to Eris- and Mercury the ruler of this Lunation is in Front End Shadow as of today with triple Eris squares incoming end of the month and into July!!!

ERIS DOMINATES THE SCENES THE LUNAR CYCLE!!!

She is more than the Goddess of Discord and Chaos. She is an activist, warrior and archetype of female power with the gift of pulling back the Veil to show more of the Truth to us- personally and collectively.

PHASE 85 (GEMINI 25°): A GARDENER TRIMMING LARGE PALM TREES.

KEYNOTE: Bringing under control nature’s power of expansion.

The intellect of man is like a tropical plant in that it tends to expand “wildly” in many directions, seeking direct contact with the sun’s rays. Like a palm tree it uses its dead leaves to protect itself against dry heat, the heat of the realm of mind when deprived of the complementary power of the feelings. A culture is characterized by specific “forms” and “prime symbols”; education’s main object, at least in cultural and classical periods, has been to contain the imagination of individuals within these traditional forms. An entirely different approach to education is being attempted in our transitional age.

At this last stage of the seventeenth five-fold sequence we have reached the level of fulfillment of the impulses which began at the first stage (Gemini 21°) in a tumultuous upsurge of self-assertion and protest against the past. Now this upsurge has found its place in the evolution of mankind and society; and - symbolically speaking - “labor” has become not only unionized, but a strong force in the body politic. Yet the energies released seek constant expansion and therefore have to be controlled. There is need for repeated PRUNING.

A cave in deep ocean waters

We can remember the future if we drop into it and keep on sinking into where the future takes us. Sometimes it looks like the past. When we take that journey, we go back to the places in other lifetimes where we woke up, looked around, came to ourselves, realized purpose and destiny dimensions. And then we lead all that comes to us from down the road onward and into the next octave, just as stunning as it used to be, but now clearer, more sustainable, more grounded and true.

We go back and forward, we go way deep in. What we find in each time and place is what we put there. The markers, the signs, the cues. We made sure before, we will make sure again to help the present time soul to remember, to come out of the nightmare, to recognize what is really happening here in the larger sense.

We are almost flooded with multi-worlds past and future and everywhere. These each thematically cry out to counter the conditioned state of mind. Somebody deep inside of us and also beyond is tremendously intent upon pulling us through the contemporary consciousness deadlock.

Why would it be so important? What is the story here? Could it be that our own true being was and will be on a sufficiently wakeful beam of awareness, one which reaches through to us now and just won’t let us drop the ball of evolution, even if our habits and predilections would cause us to try like everybody else to throw off this kind of destiny as far too much to carry through with.

We may not like it very much, but we are greatly fortunate to inherit and be able to look forward to an attunement within a realm far beyond the world of today. This spreads out far, makes every diversion empty. Yet it also primes us to take seriously something which keeps coming up and saying: Don’t you remember? Haven’t you seen it yet? Suddenly you are paying attention to that irreversible vision that is flying at you with your name on it.

I just recorded Part Eight of my Sacred Pilgrimage Series.

I share my first full day in Le Puy revisiting the Eastern Black Madonna and the Black Druid Stone and visiting the ancient Diana Temple (today called Saint-Clair Chapel).

I also talk about Solar Lughnasadh as I was here for this High Holy Day. I explore the calendar version versus the true Solar alignment of Lughnasadh, the meaning behind this Harvest festival, and why Lughnasadh is the Gate of Sacrifice.

I also go deeply into the taking over of previous ancient sacred sites and the original meaning of the word pagan which started out as a slur word. I talk about the history of Le Puy- from Paleolithic to Neolithic, to the Celts, the Romans and then the Christians/Catholics.

I talk about the Karma of the Father Line- the vicious cycle of tyrant and victim, oppressor and oppressed, winners and losers- and how this can be seen in how religions take over each other. And I talk about why I feel a very ancient Divine Mother energy permeate the ancient lands of Le Puy (and why I think the Virgin Mary chose this place to appear!)

Finally I share my time at the Diana Temple (Saint-Clair)- the octagonal chapel with the Moon phases that evokes Templar and ancient Byzantine designs.

Hello everyone!

I had the honor of being invited to Jaime Fleres of Whale Song Creative’s podcast and the interview just went live today so I wanted to share that with you.

In this interview we talked about Myth, Archetype and Astrology. We explore modern myths and ancient myths, how and why things changed, and why we need to find a bridge between the ancient past and the present/future.

I believe it is necessary to remember the ancient myths that told stories of healing, wholeness and collaboration and remember why they changed and got distorted. Understanding the past helps us take this ancient wisdom forward- where we need to evolve it for our times- creating “new and ancient myths” that will support humanity in surviving and more importantly thriving long into the future!

Jaime and I met in Asheville and she is an amazing book midwife who helps authors bring their Voice out into the world!

I just recorded this podcast about the Mercury/Uranus conjunction tonight- with both of them cojoining the asteroid Kassandra!

Modernly we are told Apollo is the god of the Oracle of Delphi and that Kassandra promised to have sex with Apollo if he gave her the gift of prophecy. The modern myth is she got the gift and reneged on her side of the deal- so Apollo got mad and cursed her saying ‘you have the gift of prophecy- but no one will believe you’.

Hmm… Why is a god in a superior power dynamic trying to trade sexual favors for prophetic gifts? What might have been there before this modern story?

The popular allegory refers to the spiritual blessings which come to the “pure in heart,” whose consciousness is likened to that of a little child. Polarized by eager expectation and faith in the existence of celestial Powers, the pure consciousness as yet un-solidified by ego and rationalistic arguments experiences the concrete manifestation of what it had imagined. In this symbol, Santa Claus acts “furtively.” The gifts from an imagined and intensely believed in spiritual world must not be examined closely or at length by the reasoning intellect. The would-be clairvoyant is told not to look straight and intently at what he begins to “see”; instead he should cast sideways glances at it, since the sharply focused mind would make the apparition vanish.

At this second stage of the thirteenth five-fold sequence we have once more a symbol in contrast to the one for the first stage. In order to discover the wonders of the normally unconscious depths of the collective psyche, the individual has to build the proper kind of vehicle (a glass-bottomed boat); but the reception of new blessings from the spiritual realm above (the superconscious) requires mostly faith and purity of heart, and a common type of understanding (stockings) — thus a state of INNOCENCE.

We remember what happened to us, and all the colors and tones of those times. We relive, passing through our reflective consciousness, the overt drama and its interior reverberations. We think about these things. We dream our lives in the now the same way. All is passing, transient. What can we grab a hold of, what is really ours?

We must go through every stage of the process. At first, we are culturally bound. So the images are so archetypal, the memories so familiar and easy. We can just be one of those characters who repeats the same lives, who comes forth through the same gestures year after year. We are common, we are part of everybody, we have the same stock of images to show for our history in this life.

Yet even solid allegiances wear thin when we start to be aware at a different level. The pictures change. What we key on now is what stands out, what has our name written on it, what is trying to show us a way through. And we become engrossed in the process of awakening. We seek to come to ourselves, to recognize who we can be amidst the reflections of who we have been and what we have learned along the way. Perhaps we even knock on the door of the third stage in our own development.

As we remember ourselves and realize why we are here, we are drawn to offer this gift to many others. And if the momentum is right, we can bring a universal resonance to what we have come to within ourselves. It seems like at every stage of the journey, we are twins of other, friends of the world. We just go from subconscious to conscious, to perhaps a super-conscious attunement to what this really means.

I just recorded the Lunar Insight for the New Moon in Taurus exact Saturday May 16th at 2:01pm Mountain Daylight Time (4:01pm Eastern/1:01pm Pacific)

This is a powerful New Moon- conjunct Ceres the Great Mother, Algol the ‘demon star’ but also a star that holds the lost Primordial Feminine.

There is a strong Ancestor energy in this lunation as well as a strong collective focus on the environment, precious natural resources, finances and the changes that need to be made to be in right relationship with Mother Earth (and the Great Mother in general!!!)

Grotesque rocks in a sand garden

A mode of perception which is both idiosyncratic and highly evocative. Seeing certain factors as so very vital. Often these are the ones commonly overlooked. Missing many factors often taken as the whole of what is happening.

Being brought into a distinctive, unique, specialized, highly individualized form of awareness. This brings with it huge blunders and so much wisdom on tap. It is a matter of recognizing that something is missing from this picture, yet that what is known matters greatly.

An assignment. A cosmic task. Go in there and see what is obvious, yet overlooked. Don’t concern yourself with all the things the others are preoccupied within. It is your part to recognize and point out what is crying to be salvaged and restored to its rightful place.

A very peculiar edge of eccentricity, of going off the deep end. Almost going out of one’s way to court the exotic, the forbidden, the neglected, the places that perhaps don’t need such exhaustive fascination. Yet it is true that somebody here must love and identify within and track through the spaces which are not so comfortable and easy to grapple with in any other way.

One jeweled wonder comes forth from this realm. If we can see with new eyes and share what we glimpse we can actually restore a shared feeling for what seems to have been left behind, but is coming toward us from the future. If we can enter upon the Mysteries of these interior realms, even the ones dark and forbidding, we can tap a lost chord and make sure that the synthesis we are all contributing to encompasses those x-factors which upset the (status quo) and the fixed assumptions.

We still are captivated by the strangest things. And we may get pretty far lost in there. Sometimes you need to be gone from ordinary consciousness to probe the innermost secrets.

I just recorded Part Seven of my Sacred Pilgrimage Series.

I share my unexpected and unplanned journey from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer to Le Puy.

I talk about the ancient pagan history of Le Puy, the 3 Black Madonnas associated with the area, why the one on the High Altar is not the one with the energy (in my opinion), the Mary Apparition said to have occurred here and the prehistoric Black Druid Stone that is said to be the Throne of Mary.

I share my deep research on the 3 Black Madonnas and clear up misinformation you will see online where incorrect dates or attributions are made. And I talk about the taking over of previous ancient pagan sites by the Catholic/Christian tradition.

I talk about the archetype of the Black Madonna, what She represents, and where She likely originated from. And I share about the association of the Black Madonna with Black Meteorites that fall from heaven.

I spent 3 nights in the ancient village/hamlet here and will share more in the next parts of this Series as I visited several amazing places in this area that each deserve their own episode/chapter <3

PHASE 222 (SCORPIO 12°): AN OFFICIAL EMBASSY BALL.

KEYNOTE: Group-consciousness, as it flowers at the highest level in cultural interchanges between representatives of the elite of the ruling class.

At present the largest unit of social organization is the nation. The symbol pictures the ruling class of such national wholes displaying at least the superficial forms of a concern for establishing permanent relationships in peaceful cooperation. What is evoked is the value of meeting other people at the highest possible level of cultural interplay (i.e. in “full dress”), rather than with an everyday type of consciousness and behavior.

In contrast to the natural spontaneity of the rescue operation shown in the preceding symbol, we have here the image of a ritualized DISPLAY of power, prestige and wealth. Relationship has been made hierarchical and is institutionalized. Phase 222 tells us that this too is an essential feature in the development of rhythmic give-and-take in order to achieve global peace.

A young man with a frail body but a beautiful and noble face

His very existence in a body is endangered, is fragile, is tenuous. His inward life as a free spirit is grounded, intensively real, as solid and substantive as his outward form belies.

For he inhabits the most peculiar of destinies. It is as though he were two beings in one. The trapped personal soul in the body has the hardest time with the simplest matters. They have been long abandoned, plunged into frequencies they cannot endure. Yet this pattern seems inevitable, unavoidable, nothing to do anything about other than barely survive it and keep on making room for the other being.

The wakeful star soul seeking spirit substantiation is able to wander, to roam, to be multiple, and to work for everything that is redemptive and regenerative. Their spin is their quintessential capacity for getting to the heart of things. The inward knowingness of the being inside is from some other world long ago.

Is this split wrongful, repressive, a mistake? Should the worlds come together and form something more basically visible and less tortuous?

Probably not. To live this way is sometimes the very best approach to take when we do have two distinct worlds to serve and an inward necessity to stay with both of them and not try to do anything fancy or push the situation which is already over that edge every time.

He is both of his divergent sides, not one or the other. His manifest embodiment is certainly a far cry from the inner reaches tapped and known so closely. Yet in the balance of this peculiar destiny, being two souls in one body is a special mutation that does the work required.
