Yes me too, I hate using AI and they to avoid it. Other creators use their own voice overs so I know its an option, but I don't know how to do it to give any help 💫
the audio version is on my website- if you click on the lunar insight you can listen to it there :) unfortunately any audio or video uploaded directly to substack is given to AI for training (aka AI scraping) and there is no way to opt out of it anymore 6 months ago there was but they removed the option to opt out). so i cannot upload the audio directly to substack right now :( i am looking into this more though- if i can find a way to circumvent and put the protections on my content- i will post directly in the future :)

Amazing how that stellium keeps traveling together, first in Sagittarius and now Capricorn! I just read this and then out of curiosity tried the audio. It didn’t sound like your voice at all and felt like it could be AI. I didn’t listen to the whole thing.
it’s definitely my voice lol. i am reading it though- i am not teaching like i usually teach- which is more of a flow. i literally read exactly what is written there- so that what is visually seen and audibly heard are the same thing. maybe that is why you sense a difference? typically when i teach or record i am in a flow state. that audio is not flow- it is READING what i wrote in flow- but it’s not in flow on its own :-0
so weird- i found out that substack has AI audio files of your posts in substack. the lunar insight audio that i read with my own voice is on my website where the lunar insight is posted. so go to that audio to listen to me (for anyone reading this comment thread!). thanks for bringing this to my awareness ilene!!!
oh i would love to know how to do this? it appears that the ‘opt out of AI using your content to train algorithms’ option is gone now. it appears that any written/audio/video content posted here does not have protections. i am very annoyed by this- as when i first looked into using substack 6 months ago they had this as an option. if anyone on her knows if we can still opt out of AI let me know! (also if you figure out how my own voice can be posted instead i am all ears)

I know other creators are able to record their own voice-over for substack so it doesn't have to be read by AI 💜💫 not sure how exactly to do it.
