I just recorded Part Nine of my Sacred Pilgrimage Series.
I share about my visit to the Saint-Michel Chapel (aka Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe) that previously was a Roman Temple to Mercury and before that a prehistoric Dolmen.
I talk about 8/8 Lion’s Gate and why people argue if it’s real and why it’s a portal/gateway that is important NOW at this time on Earth.
I talk about the Earth/Sky relationship and how Sacred Sites are attuned to this. I also talk about how letting the landscape speak to you can reveal truths hidden in plain sight.
I talk about the Virgin Mary, her apparitions, how Le Puy is one of the oldest Mary appearance sites in Europe- and how I think she choose this place because it was an ancient Goddess site for millennia (and honestly I think the Virgin Mary is simply the face the ancient Goddess wears to fit into modern traditions).
I talk about the Via Podiensis- the start of one of the French Camino Pathways here in Le Puy. And I talk about Melusine the fairy Mermaid who shows up at the top of a very high mountain- like a fish out of water! ;)
Finally, I talk about how I believe the current position of the Cathedral is not the place the original Mary apparition happened and where I think she likely did and why it got moved.
I am including several sets of pictures in this episode- so give me time to get them up after I send this out. Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe is one of my favorite places in Le Puy and there are just too many pictures I want to share so you can see why :)
