Passover & Easter of 2026 ~ A replication of alignments from Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection in 33 AD
So I want to start off by saying I began this blog writing about how the Astrology and Calendar overlay this Easter mirrors the Astrology and Calendar overlay in 33 AD at the time of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. And then I went down the RABBIT HOLE- questioning assumptions about the original ancient Sabbath being Saturday (on the current Gregorian calendar) and researching the true Essene calendar and questioning if the Qumran version is the same as Nazarene, and more. I had so many things coming in that it got a bit overwhelming and I am realizing this is probably going to have to be Part One in a series of articles on this topic. But I wanted to get this first article out well ahead of the Full Moon on April 1st, before the start of Passover and the celebration of Easter.

Why this Easter mirrors Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection in 33 AD
Last year I taught a course called ‘The Holy Grail ~ Becoming the Vessel’ and during that class I shared some very deep research on Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection- both astrologically and astronomically, and also in terms of the modern calendar and how that overlays with the Jewish Calendar.

I want to start off by saying I am spiritual- not religious. I was raised born again Christian and I love Jesus! And I do not adhere to patriarchal world religions or dogmatic attempts to take an original mystical tradition and fit it into a lockbox- thereby limiting it and creating a structure out of something that was originally living, breathing, evolving and organic.
That said- I do love to study world religions and see the foundational elements that are common to them all as well as study the reasons (often political and about securing power/resources/land) that religious institutions overlaid rigid, controlling structures onto the original spiritual teaching/teachers- usually long after they died so they could not say anything about it!
Last year I was researching the dates for possible Crucifixion/Resurrection dates and I found that this year’s Passover and Easter dates mirror almost exactly the ones from 33 AD which is the year I believe Jesus was crucified and resurrected. And it felt important to share this with everyone before we head into this Passover/Easter Portal ahead- particularly in light of the escalation of war energies and leaders using biblical passages and books to justify killing each other!!!
PLEASE NOTE- the following information will be highly detailed and based on astronomy/astrology/calendar correlations. It is information dense. For a summary of the info if this is too detailed for you scroll to the bottom and I will summarize what is most important to understand as we move into this portal.
In the Ancient Jewish tradition the month of Nisan that Passover is calculated from starts not with the actual New Moon but with the first visible Crescent Moon rising in the West after the Sun sets. This year of 2026 the New Moon was on March 18th in the evening in the USA (9:23pm EDT)- but it was in the early morning hours the next day on March 19th in Israel (3:23am). The US Navy states that generally 15.5 hours after the New Moon is exact one can visually see the Crescent Moon rise in the West (before that you would need a telescope). As the New Moon was at 3:23am Israel time- 15.5 hours later is 5:53pm which is minutes right at sunset at 5:53pm. So unless people had a clear horizon view with nothing obscuring (like false light, pollution)- the first visual naked eye occurrence for most people would be on March 20th. From the ancient way of calculating this is the start of the Month of Nisan- which is the place from which Passover is calculated.
According to the ancient Lunar Calendar this year March 20th would be the start of Nisan with 1 Nisan evening that night and 1 Nisan day the next day March 21st (the Jewish calendar counts days starting at night and completing the day the next day until sunset which starts the next day count that evening). Passover is said to start 14 days after the start of Nisan- so we would have PASSOVER EVENING on Friday April 3rd with the 1st Passover Day being the next day April 4th.
So that sets the stage for this year of 2026- based on the current understanding of the ancient Jewish calendar being calculated when you see the Lunar Crescent rise in the West after Sunset and you assume evenings start the day counts- meaning that 1 Nisan commences in the evening March 20th with 1 Nisan day being the next day March 21st. This also assumes the ancient calendar was Lunar focused and that the ancient yearly calendar started in the Spring. (I am being clear on all of these assumptions as it has been part of my rabbit hole research journey to question many of these assumptions)
BOTTOM LINE- THIS YEAR 2026
Visual Crescent Moon at Sunset- Friday March 20th - 1 Nisan Eve begins (with 1 Nisan DAY on March 21st)
Passover Eve is Friday April 3rd with Passover Day Saturday April 4th
(Currently Google says Passover starts eve of April 1st and this is because they say that Nissan 1 eve was on March 18th- which is not calculating it according the Lunar Crescent rising. The Lunar Crescent calendar dates are 2 days later)
PLEASE NOTE- the idea of calculating the month at the first visual sighting of the New Moon DIRECTLY CORRELATES with how the ancient people calculated the Ages. Many people argue about if we in the Age of Aquarius or not? The modern idea of Ages based on what constellation the Sun is in at the time of the Sunrise at Spring Equinox is NOT the way the ancients tracked it. Anciently it was a visual sky system- there were no computers to calculate charts with precision- they used Stone Circles and other celestial oriented temples and pyramids (they also used mountains).
From the Visual Sky perspective when calculating ages- they looked to see what was rising before the Sun on the Spring Equinox (or Fall Equinox- there are variations on this and it appears that we may have first calculated from the Fall not the Spring) to see what age was rising at Spring and/or falling at Fall. We have had Aquarius rising before the Sun at the Spring Equinox from the Northern Hemisphere perspective solidly since the 1500’s but it can even be seen as early as the 1200’s when the Cathars were being slaughtered. Because the constellations are wild and chaotic with none of them being equally 30 degrees and the boundaries between them hard to discern (some of them overlap)- it is hard to say with precision when the Age of Aquarius precisely began in terms of year and date. But what we can say with absolute precision is that WE ARE FULLY IN IT now from the ancient calculation perspective.

Now that we have gotten clear about Passover for 2026 let’s move onto 33 AD…
What is interesting is that in 33 AD we had the same line up when you overlay the modern Gregorian Calendar dates and days with the Ancient Hebrew Lunar Calendar- AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WHEN YOU COMPARE THE FULL MOONS BY TROPICAL DEGREE.
Back in 33 AD the Month began with a New Moon/Solar Eclipse that occurred a little after noon on Thursday March 19th (when corresponding it to the Gregorian Calendar)- so the Crescent Moon was visible on Friday March 20th- the same as this year in 2026. Back in 33 AD Passover began on the eve of Friday April 3rd with the first full day being Saturday April 4th. THE SAME AS THIS YEAR.
So this year we have a mirror of what happened back in 33 AD when comparing calendars and days of the week. And further, the actual Full Moon degrees which Passover is timed with are mirrored as both the 33 AD Full Moon and the 2026 Full Moon are less than 1 degree apart when we look at their Tropical Positions. This is not always the case- as the Full Moon after Spring Equinox changes position so the degree of the Full Moon in Tropical Libra varies each year (it can span anywhere in the 30 degrees of Libra). But in 33 AD the Full Moon was at 11’36 Tropical Libra and the Full Moon this year is at 12’21 Tropical Libra. So that is 45 minutes apart- less than a degree. This means both Lunations are the same distance from the Equinox Point aka the Aries Point/0 Aries the start of Spring from the Northern Hemisphere perspective. This year we have a correlation of Lunation degree and Calendar overlay when you read the calendars from the Ancient Way of calculating positions. It also overlays perfectly with Easter- but we will get to that shortly.
Of course Tropical Astrology is based on 0 Aries being fixed as the start of the Zodiac which occurred around 130 BC. Previously we did not fix the Equinox Point to one degree because the Equinox point was the like the hour hand moving on a clock that would tell us what time it was in the Cycle of the Ages. Fixing it at 0 Aries and disconnecting the Equinox point from the Living Sky did us all of humanity a great disservice.
Despite these Full Moons being at almost the exact same DEGREE in Tropical Astrology (due to the fixing of the Aries Point)- In Living Sky Astrology the Full Moon in 33 AD was at the bottom feet of the Virgo Constellation- whereas this year it is by the top of the head of the Virgo Constellation. The different positions in the Constellation are due to Precession- the very thing the modern calendars have attempted to disconnect us from by fixing the Aries Points and prioritizing the Earth/Sun relationship (the Equinoxes and Solstices are based on the Sun’s position to Earth and the seasons). The modern calendar has removed both the Lunar the Stellar calculations that the ancients relied on- they were never exclusively focused on the Sun!

So this year of 2026 we strangely have a replication of the Full Moon (by Tropical Degree) back then as well as the a replication of how the modern understanding of the ancient Jewish Calendar overlays with the modern Gregorian Calendar. And it all overlays with Easter in the Christian calendar- Good Friday corresponds with Passover evening when you use the Ancient System for calculation. This is NOT the case if you use the modern system.
SO IN BOTH 33 AD & 2026-
New Moon is March 19th
First Lunar Crescent is Friday March 20th- 1 Nisan Eve
Passover starts Friday April 3rd eve
Easter starts with Good Friday April 3rd
In 33 AD the Ancient way of calculating Passover had it beginning on Friday Evening April 3rd with the first full day on Saturday. In Jewish tradition the 1st full day of Passover correlated with High Sabbath- not the weekly Saturday Sabbath- but one of the High Sabbath days. So Friday and Saturday were double Sabbaths- with the next day Sunday being the morning Jesus rose before sunrise. Mary Magdalene is said to have gone out for herbs to anoint Jesus’ body after the Sabbath was over- well the Sabbath on Saturday ended just before Sunset. So she would have gone to get herbs that evening to be read to go to the tomb the next morning.
Jesus is said to have been crucified in the place of the Sacrificial Lamb that is offered on Passover. Jesus was Essene and vegetarian. One of the things his sect vehemently disagreed with was the eating of animals and animal sacrifice. If you want to see a great movie about this watch Noah with Russel Crowe (I think you can watch it on Netflix)- as it literally states that the reason the flood happened is largely because of how the people were treating animals (also because of violence to each other).
So Jesus is said to have died on Friday- when Passover began and the lambs would have been slaughtered. There are thoughts he may have been crucified Thursday or even Wednesday because the bible says he was in the womb of the earth 3 days and 3 nights- and Friday just before sunset burial to Sunday morning rise before sunrise does not add up to 3 days and nights- but I will not get into that right now (maybe Part Two). What matters is he rose after Sabbath- so on Sunday April 5th- both in 33 AD and in 2026 this year. And this 33 AD date still fits if he died a day or two before which I can share more in a future article.
His passover meal the night before his crucifixion throws people off- because if he died on the first day of passover how did he have a passover meal? That is likely because he was celebrating the Nazarene Passover. There were 5 different passover calculations back then due to different sects having different ways of calculating. So it is most probable he was celebrating passover the night of the Nazarene/Essene holy day on the evening of Thursday the 2nd with the other more commonly celebrated one happening the next night on Friday the 3rd. He was taken the night of his passover and slain the day of their passover. He was the passover sacrifice.
It is commonly thought that Jesus died during a Solar Eclipse as it says in the bible that right after he died the earth shook and the sky went dark. But Passover is calculated by the Full Moon- so it could not be a Solar Eclipse (which would eclipse the sunlight and make things dark). There was a Lunar Eclipse but the Lunar Eclipse at that time was not Total but in fact Partial (and Lunar Eclipses do not make the sky go dark- just the Moon). According to the proposed dates above- the Lunar Eclipse was on Friday April 3rd just before 5pm- right around when he was probably being taken off the cross and brought to the tomb.
So Jesus death coincided with the Ritual slaughtering of the lamb, the main passover meal, the Lunar Eclipse, the double Sabbath (which was a rare event)- with all of this happening in an Eclipse Portal (remember in 33 AD this month began with a Solar Eclipse).
And the final piece to this delineation (and in my opinion the reason WHY 33 AD is the time of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection)- we need to add in Venus Retrograde.
In 33 AD Venus stationed Retrograde on February 28th in the Gregorian Calendar at 7’10 Aries in the Tropical System. The Sun/Venus conjunction was on March 21st at 28’52 Pisces- right at the end of Pisces- just a day and a couple hours before the Equinox. So in the lead up to his death there was a Solar Eclipse on March 19th with the Moon/Venus conjunction at 0’02 Aries 5 hours later, 2 days later a Sun/Venus conjunction marking the midpoint of the Underworld cycle of Venus, and then the Equinox on March 22nd. Talk about a big astrological portal opening the way from March 19th-22nd. Then just under two weeks later we have his death and burial on the passover, a Lunar Eclipse, and double Sabbath. His rise before the sunrise would have been on Sunday April 5th.
I have personally found that Mystical Astrological Portals are most powerful when The Eclipse Portal, The Equinoxes or Solstices and Venus Retrograde all line up. This means there are alignments of the Sun, Moon and Nodes (Eclipses), Sun/Earth (Equinoxes/Solstices) and Sun/Venus (Venus Retrograde midpoint is conjunct the Sun). Last March we had the Venus Retrograde portal from 33 AD mirror the one in 2025 and we also had the eclipse portal with the Total Lunar Eclipse on March 14th and the Partial Solar Eclipse on March 29th bookending the Equinox. But it did not line up with the Jewish calendar (converted to Gregorian), it did not have replications of the Full Moon degree by Tropical position and it did not line up with Easter as we do this year.
Jubilee years happens once every 50 years- but the next one is the last one in the Age of Grace which is almost over and has lasted 2000 years. In one system the Jubilee year was last year of 2025- in the Essene system it is said to actually be this year in 2026. I have noticed a pattern of things coming in 3’s. So I think that 2025, 2026 and 2027 are all part of a Portal alignment. 2027 is the Mutation degree year in the Human Design/Gene Key system- incidentally starting on February 28th which is the day that Venus stationed Retrograde before Jesus’ death in 33 AD!
This year in 2026 we have some interesting Astrology on Easter Weekend. Friday we have the last of 3 Mercury/Jupiter trines, Saturday we have the Moon trine both Mercury and Jupiter (forming a Grand Water Trine between 12 and 4pm Pacific/1-5 Mountain, 3-7 Eastern), and then on Sunday we have the Sun square Jupiter! All of this happening while Jupiter is hovering at the degree of Exaltation (15 Cancer)- conjunct Sirius the Spiritual Sun of our sun- and then heading into 16 Cancer to align with Canopus the Path Finder. These are the #1 and #2 brightest stars in our sky- not counting the Sun. They are very important stars- and as we have this replication of astrology/calendar dates/lunations on Easter Weekend these Stars are majorly activated by the alignments!
Easter weekend this year is a big Jupiter/Sirius/Canopus Stargate weekend- and it echoes what happened in 33 AD. What it does not align with is the position of the Full Moon in the constellation of Virgo- but it does bookend Virgo. Due to precession if we were not living by a fixed calendar like we do today- we would not see the Full Moon replicate itself 2000 years apart because the living sky is moving- so the Equinox constellation changes (which is how we calculate the Ages) and so would the Spring Lunation constellation. But when comparing Tropical to Living Sky- the Full Moon in 33 AD was at the feet of Virgo and this full Moon is at her head. Which for me evokes the two Goddesses Nebthet and Auset (Nephthys and Isis) who would stand at the feet and head of the dead Osiris as they did the work to resurrect him ;) (and yes Osiris and Jesus are archetypally similar).
Please remember that the whole point of Jesus coming was to help liberate the Light in all of us. Anyone using this time as an excuse to be pro-war so that we can have the War of Revelations is in my opinion absolutely off their rocker. Actually anyone using this astrology and Jesus’ ministry/teachings to justify killing and warring could actually be playing the role of the evil that Christ is said to be coming back defeat. And as everyone (and every nation/culture/religion) wants to be seen as the good and right one- we would all do well to NOT be the ones going to war otherwise we are casting ourselves in the opposite role. If you are gung ho about warring right now YOU ARE LETTING THE ANTI-CHRIST WORK THROUGH YOU. Because the entire teachings of Jesus were about Love not war- about awakening to the Divine within not projection of power and supremacy. Anyone celebrating and advancing war is playing into the hand of the false prophet and the anti christ (or IS the false prophet and anti-christ).
Am I expecting miracles this Easter? The miracle I am calling in is the profound opening of all the heart chakras of humanity. So that we can remember who we are, remember our Light, stopping warring, killing, raping and extracting. The patriarchal paradigm has gone too far in the direction of mass extinction. World War 3 with nuclear weapons on the table will get us there- do not be deluded. This war is a war where no one will win. The “war to end all wars” will lead to the destruction of our planet.
If you want Jesus to return you need to lay down your weapons and come back to your heart. This is how Jesus returns. Remember your humanity and remember the humanity of others. We can only kill and make war when we dehumanize others. When we do not see others as human- we have lost our own humanity. Christos Sophia returns through each of us who choose to anchor in the Heart and embody the Light. Stop looking up in the sky and look down in your Soul and heart. Can you weigh your heart against the feather of Truth and will it be light? If not what are you ready, willing and able to do about it?
Let us stop looking without and start looking within. Let us be the Love we wish to see in the world- and let it start with us. That is my Easter wish for us all <3

THE POWERFUL PORTAL is Friday April 3rd through Sunday April 5th- but I would extend that to start with the Full Moon on Wednesday April 1st (evening in USA/next day morning Israel). meat is dense and filled with the fear of the animals- not to mention a lot of antibiotics and other crap. even organic meat is showing toxicity levels when tested
get good sleep
turn off phones/wifi routers at night so you can sleep EMF free
spend time out in nature- by water or in mountains or by sacred rock formations
pay attention to your dreams!
meditate
reflect
allow for introspection
go out at night and see the stars
SHORT AND TO THE POINT SUMMARY:
This year’s Passover and Easter dates mirror what happened in 33 AD when Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection occurred. This mirroring is seen in the calendar overlay/translation from ancient Jewish Lunar Crescent occurrence to modern Gregorian, as well as Full Moon Tropical degrees being under a degree apart. In addition the Passover when calculated the ancient way completely lines up with Easter weekend. The modern way of calculating Passover says it starts April 1st in the evening. The ancient way of calculating it shows that it starts Friday April 3rd- Good Friday in the Christian tradition. (Be sure to read how to Prepare above in addition to this short summary if you do not read/listen to the entire article)

When you see the calendar please note the bold dates i.e. April 3rd is what the day is with the lighter dates above being the eve the day before. The number in upper left of each date box i.e. 14 is the Nisan DAY - so Nisan 14 eve would be the night before. It gets very confusing. Add in the Gregorian calendar and you can see why this is like putting a Rubik’s cube together!!!
